The location was brilliant for a few days of hiking, and the cozy atmosphere truly enhanced my experience. I particularly enjoyed the on-site coffee shop, which served amazing hot chocolate well into the evening—just what I needed after a long day outdoors. Although the room was a bit on the smaller side, the comfortable bed and clean environment made up for it. Just a suggestion for improvement would be better toiletries in the bathroom.

The room felt spacious with comfy beds, perfect after a long day of hiking. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. The location next to Thirlmere was fantastic for early morning walks. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. fresh bread and yogurt made a great start to the day. the Wi-Fi in the room was really weak. It connected most reliably in the common areas, which made planning our hikes a bit challenging. The bathroom could use some updates, especially the shower, which had low pressure at times. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable, and the cozy atmosphere kept us coming back for more.

We had an amazing time with friends, enjoying the cozy common areas and the Snug, where we could relax by the fire. The location is perfect for hiking and exploring the lakes. The staff are great and made our stay enjoyable. Don't miss the continental breakfast!
The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which didn't reach our room so we had to find a spot in the entrance to plan our adventures.

A Cozy Stay with Welcoming Vibes!
Our stay was delightful! The staff showered our furry companions with affection. Enjoyed a spacious room with all essentials, though the bathroom needed an upgrade. Breakfast choices were satisfying. Pro tip, bring earplugs, as outside noise can intrude at night.
